Pay your bills off completely. Cancel all your credit cards except one. Charge $100 a month and pay the bill in full every month. This should raise your score by 100 points over 2 years.

Pay all your debts (set up payment plans with the involved companies), and continue paying you current bills on time. Your credit should be fine in six months

Go to a credit counselor, who will work with you to pay off your debts within your budget. He/she may contact your creditors to negotiate a payment schedule and get them off your back. But you must be willing to pay off your debts and live within your budget, which may be tight for a while.
Before you work with anyone, check them out to see they are reliable, recognized in your state/province, and they will not just add to your indebtedness.

You do not fix bad credit, you re-establish good credit.
Start with 2 credit cards and charge everyday things be careful never to exceed 30% of your credit limit and pay in full before the due date.
This should raise your score at least 100 points over a 24 month period.
Then you can start on your installment credit with a car, furniture or personal loan.

stay away from credit cards or you will end up in the same mess that got you the bad credit.
People obsess/worry way to much about thier credit score.
Save your money and pay in cash.
Dont buy things you cant afford.
banks spend millions each yr convincing people that they need a credit card or a loan for this and that to establish credit. Thats the only way to get ahead in todays world. Bullspit! What makes todays world so different than yesterday?

Here is the answer that will change your life!
Many people out there believe that credit repair is a scam. And, to be honest, there are a lot of scam artists out there posing as credit repair specialists. However, it should be noted that most of the myths about credit repair are perpetuated by the credit reporting agencies. They don’t want you challenging what they do because it costs them money. So they will tell you that you don’t need to do credit repair or that you can do it yourself. While that is true, it is also true that you can repair your car yourself when it breaks down. However, you take it to a mechanic because you know the mechanic understands engines better than you do.
I KNOW its legitimate i went from a 502 credit score to a 767 in 6 months!!!!!!!!!!!! Best thing i ever did!!!!!
The company i used offered a money back guarantee.
